Calvary Snohomish welcomes you! We are a non-denominational church that is associated with the Calvary Chapel Association, The Calvary Chapel Global Network, and with many Calvary Chapel’s in the area, including Calvary Fellowship in Mountlake Terrace.
We are a church that wants to love God with all our heart, mind and soul. We want our grace to be abundant, our faith to be apparent and our love to be authentic. We want to love others as Christ loved us. We are a fellowship that has been joined together by Christ. We are a family that lives out God’s grace with each other, one day at a time.
We thank you for visiting.
Our Core Beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. The complete and final written revelation of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the deity of of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to have the liberty, power, and wisdom to live every day for Him.
We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Body, His church, and the Word of God is the foundation upon which this church operates and is the basis for which this church is governed. We desire to be led by the Holy Spirit in all the functions and directions of the ministry of the church.
We believe that the Word of God supersedes any earthly law that is contrary to the Holy Scriptures.
We believe that God created Marriage, and that marriage is only truly defined by the authority of God and his word. God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, and no other definition of marriage will be recognized.
These core beliefs by no means are the extent of what we believe. If you ever have any questions about our beliefs or essential doctrine, practice or policies, feel free to come talk to an Elder or Pastor at the church or contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
