Our Core Beliefs

These core beliefs by no means are the extent of what we believe. If you ever have any questions about our beliefs or essential doctrine, practice or policies, feel free to come talk to an Elder or Pastor at the church.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. The complete and final written revelation of God

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the deity of of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to have the liberty, power, and wisdom to live every day for Him.

We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Body, His church, and the Word of God is the foundation upon which this church operates and is the basis for which this church is governed. We desire to be led by the Holy Spirit in all the functions and directions of the ministry of the church.

We believe that the Word of God supersedes any earthly law that is contrary to the Holy Scriptures.

We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Scripture are available to and active in His church today.

We Believe water baptism is not a personal choice, but a command for all believers in Jesus. Water baptism is a public, outward testimony that indicates a personal, inward faith. It gives evidence of the inner change that has already occurred in the believer’s life when he or she was “born again” through faith in Jesus Christ. It associates the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and signifies the believer’s death to the old life and his or her resurrection as a new creation in Christ.

We believe that God created Marriage, and that marriage is only truly defined by the authority of God and his word. God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, and no other definition of marriage will be recognized.

We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in His own image. He created them sinless, equal in value, dignity and worth. According to His purpose and design, God created them to fulfill distinct but complementary roles in the contexts of marriage, family and the local church.

We believe that the nation of Israel has a special place in God’s plan, and that all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled both now and in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in His millennium.

We believe there is one church, the body of Christ, consisting of men and women from every tribe, tongue, people and nation. We believe that every Christian congregation is an expression of that universal church. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
